Skin Tag Removal
Skin tags are usually benign peices of skin that hang off the body. Common areas for skin tags include the neck, groin, under the breasts and underarms. While not harmful, skin tags are often considered unsightly and most people want them gone for good.
One used to have to see a doctor to have skin tags removed – a procedure not usually covered by insurance. If you can’t afford the procedure, you were stuck with the skin tags. If you have one skin tag, you will likely develop more as time passes. Doctors remove skin tags in one of 3 ways: cutting them off, burning them off or freezing them off.
In more recent years there are also safe topical treatments available at your drug store or via online purchase. Skin tag removal is easily achieved at home with the right product. Removing skin tags can be as simple as applying a product a few times a day until they drop off. Painless and safe, you can be rid of your unsightly skin tags for good without harsh acids or chemicals.
Natural Skin Mole Removal
For some people, having skin moles is a self-conscious issue. Removal can be very expensive and even cause permanent scaring. The good news is that you can have your moles removed naturally and safely with essential oils.
Moles occur randomly, in clusters and can show up on any part of the body. They are made of clusters of skin cells and tend to be brown or black in color. Moles are generally benign and unless you see a mole change in some way, grow larger or change in color, your mole is likely that most common benign kind.
Moles, like skin tags, can be removed by a doctor – though this option tends to be expensive and can cause permanent scarring. As a natural and safe approach, you can heal moles and make them disappear forever by simply using an age-old essential oil remedy. A few drops a day and soon you’ll be free of moles anywhere on your body. This product is even safe for the facial area. Avoid costly surgical, laser or chemical treatments with a traditional doctor altogether!
Before you choose any mole removal treatment, you should see a dermatoligist to ensure your moles are not cancerous.
Natural Acne Treatments
Everyone has had to deal with acne in their life. For some it happens as a teenager. For others it happens later in life as an adult. You see tv ads by celebrities with acne everywhere. It’s a human condition we all don’t want to deal with.
Before you start spending major money trying out various chemical treatments that may or may not work, consider what you are really doing to your skin. Are you washing the affected area daily? What about your diet? Are you eating a lot of oily and non-healthy food? If you aren’t treating your body well, your skin is going to react – and react badly. While there are still people who suffer with acne who are already on a healthy diet, these folks tend to have ingrown hair issues rather than an oily skin problem. Then there are those people who suffer from acne only occassionally, usually only during certain periods of thier life. Pregnancy and during a woman’s monthly period is common. This is what is often referred to as hormonal acne.
You may also want to consider the effects of harsh chemicals and prescription drugs on your body. Bombarding your body with man-made chemicals is not a healthy solution. Over time these harsh chemicals will affect your health. Be it a lowered immune system or even a worse skin condition or disease.
You can successfully treat acne at home with home-made ingredients. There are many tried and true recipes to be found online varying from tomato pulp applications to baking soda masks. You can even lessen the redness of your acne by using toothpaste or even eyedrops that remove redness. Home remedies for acne are easy to find, usually involve very cheap ingredients you find at home, and are very safe for you and your skin.
How to Have Clear Pores
Everyone wants clear, impurities-free skin. Unfortunately, not all of us were blessed to have the model- look beautiful skin that we always wanted. People are always bombarded with those various skin disorders and we are always flocking to our drugstores to buy the latest miracle cure for that naturally beautiful skin.
- Fact number one. The cosmetic industry makes billions of dollars from the public quest for great skin. They use the money to advertise and perpetuate their products. Do not be fooled by the hype.
- Fact number two. There are many factors that contribute to the clogging of pores: like dehydrated skin, improper cleansing, excessive oil production, excessive build-up of dead skin cells, hormones, excessive sweating, dirty work or play environments, genetics, makeup, fingers on the face, allergic reactions, a diet high in sugar content and many others.
- Fact number three. Most skin impurities are due to clogged pores, so the best way to have that beautiful skin is to unclog your pores.
- Avoid oil-based products such as facial lotions, wash and cosmetics. Look for products that are “non-comedogenic,” it means it will not clog your pores.
- Do not wear tight headband, baseball hat, and/or helmet when you exercise or play sports, and make sure you wash the sweat-soaked things each time you wear them.
- Keep the skin hydrated and moist so your cells can function properly. Moisturize your face with mild, non-comedogenic moisturizers to keep it hydrated. Moisturizing is a necessity. Again, the product with the least amount of chemical additives is the best. Always use a light moisturizer on your face after cleansing.
- Cleanse your pores with an alcohol-free toner or skin conditioner on cotton balls. Do not try to scrub harshly or you will strip and damage your skin. Even after rinsing your face, if you do not remove the remainder of cleanser and loosened debris residues, you are only going to imbed that debris deeper into the pores as you layer serums and moisturizers on top. The absolute best way to perform this deep pore cleansing is with an alcohol-free toner or skin conditioner on cotton balls. There’s no need to harm your skin by vigorous scrubbing or harsh acids, simply wipe with toner damp cotton balls until the last cotton comes away perfectly white.
- Astringents, Salicylic Acid, retinoic acids, and glycolic acids all work to prevent pores from clogging. Be aware of some active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, these ingredients can cause major side effects.
So there, those are ultra easy steps to eliminate or lessen your problem, start today. You CAN have clear pores. Beauty starts with your skin.
Options for Aging Skin
Adult acne and scarring from acne is really lousy on your self esteem. Especially in women, changes in skin elasticity and dryness can be worsened with the cessation of child bearing years – menopause. These hormonal changes can result in acne even for those ladies who never suffered with it as teenagers.
If it isn’t acne that is your issue, it’s increasingly dry skin and progression of fine lines and wrinkles. As we age, it’s inevitable. One usually tries various products from the drug store that promise younger, healthier skin. For some, simple drug store brand products just aren’t enough and a visit to a specialist is in order.
Whether you are trying to decrease the amount of acne break outs you experience or deal with those fine lines around eyes and mouth, you may find yourself considering cosmetic surgery. Discover Facial Skin Care Ingredients That Work
If you have spent any amount of time looking for facial skin care products, you know there are literally thousands of products to choose from. You can find them advertised on the internet, in your favorite magazine and every home shopping channel on cable.
So the problem isn’t finding a facial skin product, its choosing one that’s useful for your skin and a good value for your money.
The most effective facial products will contain natural ingredients that hydrate and heal your skin. On the product label, these ingredients should be at the beginning of the list. If not, then there isn’t enough of the ingredient to be of use.
Be careful of some commonly used oils that are not good for your skin. The one most frequently used is mineral oil. This oil clogs your pores and prevents your skin from breathing. It can also cause acne flare ups because of the toxins that get trapped in your skin. If used long enough, your skin will become dependent on mineral oil.
An unusual but valuable ingredient to look for is phytessence wakame. It comes from a specific type of Japanese sea kelp. Phytessence wakame stops an enzyme which causes hyaluronic acid to break down.
Hyaluronic acid is a component of your skin, which helps with tissue repair and lubrication. As the levels of the acid increase, your skin begins to look firm and healthy.
Another quality ingredient to look for in a facial care product is coenzymeQ10, or CoQ10. This is an antioxidant which is becoming more prevalent in skin care products.
CoQ10 helps your skin to produce collagen. The most valuable form of CoQ10 is the naturally derived nano-lipid form. This form penetrates deep into your skin to destroy free radicals.
Free radicals are destructive molecules that break down your skins ability to maintain its structure and firmness.
Manuka honey is an antioxidant from New Zealand. It has strong healing and rejuvenating properties. In addition, manuka honey is able to get deep into the layers of your skin and help your skin in the creation of stronger collagen.
Collagen is part of the support pattern that gives your skin that firm, young look.
A new ingredient that is found in some of the best skin products is Cynergy TK™. This ingredient stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin in your skin. As elastin increases in your skin, your wrinkles begin to fade. Cynergy TK™ also helps your body to produce new skin cells
There are several other ingredients to look for if you are searching for facial care products, some of which I discuss at my website. However, it is just as important that you learn about the ingredients to avoid that can be found in those products.
